Reykjavik Fibre Network (Ljósleiðarinn) is a telecommunications company and a subsidiary of Reykjavik Energy, founded in 2007. The role of Ljósleiðarinn is to provide Icelandic homes and businesses with an access to a high-quality service on an open network.
The Ljósleiðarinn staff follow the core values of integrity, foresight, and efficiency in accordance with our values and those of the parent company. The employees keep these values as their guiding light in every task they undertake. The employees are around 55 but the company also operates with various contractors. In total, around 200 people work for Ljósleiðarinn at any given time. Our employees collectively possess a vast amount of knowledge where technology-based education and business education go together along with various other fields of training that they use for the benefit of our customers.
